Shaking out the lavender

The lavender from our herb garden is left to dry after being hand-harvested. The fragrant spikes are then ready to be threshed—another step we carry out strictly by hand!

If you’d like to trythis relaxing and stress-relieving experience, you’ll find a dedicated area—open on operating days with free admission—where you can practice this ancient craft alongside friends and family, gathering for a “filò” as the rural tradition dictates, to enjoy these moments of shared hands-on activity amid relaxed conversation and the soothing scent of this plant, rich in beneficial properties.

Admission is free. Reservations are recommended.
FROM JULY 15 TO AUGUST 30 DURING OPENING HOURS
WEDNESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY 9:30 AM–12:00 PM AND 3:30 PM–6:30 PM (6:00 PM ON SATURDAYS)
IN AUGUST, WE ARE ALSO OPEN ON SUNDAYS THE 3rd, 10, AND 17, ON FERRAGOSTO.

There is no set time limit; it’s an activity that should be relaxing and enjoyable for those who do it.
